How AIAtlas handles the limited data it collects from visitors and tool submissions.
What we collect
The details you type into a tool submission or an email you send us, and — if you allow analytics — anonymous usage measurement. We do not run advertising trackers.
Analytics data
When analytics is active and allowed, we record which pages and tool listings are viewed, which categories are opened, the search or Advisor task you described, which filters you used, and whether you saved a favourite, added a tool to a comparison, clicked through to a tool's official website, or started and completed a submission. Search and Advisor text is shortened and stripped of anything resembling an email address or long number before it is sent.
What analytics never includes
Analytics events never contain your name, email address, the content of a Submit a Tool form, contact-message text, account or admin information, passwords or authentication tokens. Private submission details are used only to review the tool and are never sent to an analytics service.
Why we collect it
Usage measurement tells us which categories and tasks people look for so we can prioritise which tools to review and improve navigation and search quality. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
How we use it
Analytics tell us which categories and tasks people search for so we can prioritise reviews. Submission details are used only to evaluate the tool.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Vendors are never told who searched for or viewed their listing.
Retention and your rights
Submissions are kept while the listing is under review and for one year afterwards. Email privacy@aiatlas.com to access or delete anything you have sent us.
Managing analytics
Analytics is optional. If an analytics service is enabled, you are asked before anything is measured and you can decline — browsing AIAtlas works exactly the same either way. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can change it here at any time.
No third-party analytics service is currently active on AIAtlas, so there is nothing to opt out of. If we enable one, you'll be asked first and this section will let you change your choice.
